Tell us about you/your family
We are the Andrews—Braydon, Jenna, Kip (9 years), Lucy (7 years) and Scout (1 year, miniature poodle). We live in Minnetonka, our kids go to Clear Springs Elementary and participate in the Spanish Immersion Program. Braydon works for Cargill, is a Virginia Tech Alum and originally from Roanoke, VA. Jenna is a home hospice nurse for Park Nicollet, a St Olaf alum and originally from Edina, MN.
Favorite Summer Memory
We love sharing our pool with neighbors, new and old friends, and family. We also travel to Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia each summer to visit our family—every trip is complete with a daily visit from an ice cream boat!
What's one book that's made an impact on you in the last 5 years?
We read Tim Keller’s “The Meaning of Marriage” prior to getting married, it has given us an incredible foundation and a book we reference frequently. ”Bible Infographics for Kids” is a favorite among our family and kids.
Tell us about any hobbies
Braydon is truly an adult camp counselor around our home, he is a great craftsman and always finding an activity for everyone. Jenna loves to read, enjoys a good art project, can be found organizing and is always up for a deep conversation. We love running together and hiking National Parks. Kip is a great chess player, a lego master and wants to build robots when he grows up. Lucy already has her life planned as a professional horse back rider, dog groomer and owner of at least three dozen animals—all while wearing pink cowgirl boots and a tutu.
What's one thing you're most excited about for this house group?
We cherish community and are excited to build relationships with other families at Mercy Hill. We believe our faith grows best in a company of our church, we are excited for a space to build trust, strengthen relationships and support one another through all of life’s adventures.
Braydon & Jenna's House Group meets on Sunday from 2:30-4pm at Mercy Hill. Childcare is provided.
